New Moon Solar Eclipse in the North Node in Aries

Hold onto your hearts…and your head. Saturday brings the last North Node eclipse in Aries for almost two decades, followed by—BOOM!—Neptune moving into Aries. Talk about a portal. The eclipses have been cycling between Aries and Libra since 2023. While we’ve had some previews of the stories that the nodes in Pisces and Virgo are telling, we get this final chapter of the Libra-Aries story this weekend. This eclipse is about leadership, much like the 2023 eclipses highlighted. There’s leadership on the world stage, and your self-leadership. How are you harnessing your inner authority?
We’ve been reviewing, releasing and reframing for most of March. Mercury is retrograde, Venus is retrograde, and we’ve been in Eclipse Season since March 14 when the full moon was in the South Node in Virgo; if you cried during that time, good on you. You are with the Universe.
Pro tip: If you did not start something new last week, during the whirlwind of conjunctions from the Equinox through March 26th (Mercury Rx conjunct Pluto), now is not the time for that. Wait until Mercury Rx ends or at least until after the eclipse, if you can.
This is no ordinary eclipse. Energy has been shifting wildly over the past two weeks—mainly between Pisces and Virgo; the sun and the moon; Saturn, the North Node, Neptune, Mercury, Venus, Pluto and Neptune. We just had the Equinox. All that energy serves as a bridge between Pisces and Aries. This is MASSIVE.
Eclipses occur because the light goes out. And then it returns. They are shake-ups that arrive as jolts. Power surges. Prep for plot twists. What else switches with the eclipse? As Neptune is moving into Aries, it kisses this eclipse and gives this shift an uber-boost. It’s BOLD and LOUD. It will be felt. Stay ready. It’s a reset.
This is a transformation, igniting a new cycle of idealism, creativity, and illusions that will take us to 2039. It’s the dawn of an era (Pluto just moved to Aquarius in November for the next 40 years, and Venus began a new eight-year cycle at the startpoint last week during the sun cazimi.). Awaken your dreams, awaken to yourself.
This weekend ushers in a six-month cycle and perhaps a more radical revolution. Reassess your boundaries, reflect on your creativity. Mars is in Cancer, the sign of the nurturer, and Mars’ detriment Squares are CHALLENGING. Because Chiron offers up medicine for our perpetual wound, this could be triggering. Mercury Rx is in Aries (moving back to Pisces (aka the sign of un-doing)) so it’s a think-before-you-speak kind of time. Neptune’s veil of delulu adds to the haze. To go deep, reflect on the past two years—What has changed? Your chutzpah? How you use your voice? Your follow-through on your intentions? What is healing?
