Full Moon Virgo/Mercury Stations Rx
March 9-16 - Full Blood Moon in Virgo in the South Node | Mercury Stations Retrograde in Aries
Opportunity. If we frame the next three weeks as an opportunity, we can make excellent use of Eclipse Season, and both Venus and Mercury retrograde in Aries (plus Mars in Cancer). Four questions serve as your mantra: "What do I need to do? What do I need to get done ahead of time? What is something someone else wants me to do? What do I need to be like "I can't take that on right now?"
Here for the cleanse! Thursday’s full moon eclipse is in the South Node, in Virgo. South Node = letting go, healing, a decrease. Perhaps you'll ditch a bit of perfectionism. But beware, a Saturn opposition on Wednesday, and Mercury, (which rules the eclipse), stationing retrograde Friday can leave you open to self-criticism. Better to use this as an opportunity to reframe than wallow in blame (or even worse, shame). Release, reimagine, refine.
Touch grass.
Churn is the vibe. March = a red flag month. How will you hold your center? Decide now. Hold on tight to your boundaries. Oh—and complete all required unfinished business by Thursday.
You may feel like you're living in a psychological thriller. You're not alone. That’s the Venus Rx in Aries, and of course, the Mars. Sus.
Karma. Instability. Transformation. This is your permission slip to slow down. Reframe. Feeling stuck or in overdrive? What can you do differently? Be open to whatever downloads may come.
Both Venus Rx and Mercury Rx are on a journey connected to underworld myths. They are going down together to unearth something crucial in order to show us how we can unite and work through this moment. Their cycles will reset with the sun—(March 22 and 24 (the midpoints of these two retrogrades, respectively))—as it moves into Aries and the cosmic new year unfolds. Now is all about release. After that, then we can re-imagine and recreate.
Tuesday, March 11: Mercury + Venus Rx conjunction in Aries...It’s a bullhorn. The planet of justice, fairness, and equality (at home in Libra) is in its opposite sign. Messaging that rallies our spirit to be contrarian for the good of ALL is the order of the day. This is the planet of social cohesion (around art, beauty, our collective interests). Unity and unions. As Venus Rx descends down deep, look at how we come together. What has happened to our social life (as a society)?
Be loud and effective. Where are we channeling our creative flair? Thursday’s eclipse is also in opposition to Neptune—the planet of the ideal, dreams, escapism, and illusion. Sun is sextile Uranus on Friday, too. There's scrutiny. How can we reinvent what isn't working? Let's get experimental, try something new. Breakthroughs, anyone?
ICYMI: the houses where Pisces and Aries live in your chart are the two getting the most action at this point in 2025. Venus, Mercury, Neptune, Saturn, and the North Node are all rotating back and forth between these two houses (well, the North Node is hanging out for a while). The new moon solar eclipse occurs in the North Node in Aries at the end of the month, and Neptune enters Aries for the first time since 1861 (yikes!). Purge and purify, renew and reclaim. The part of your chart that contains Virgo gets a boost for the rest of the month,
Mercury Rx TO DOs Now: Carry a bike pump/spare tire. Arrive early. Plan for delays. THINK before you speak. Triple-edit before hitting send. IF you must sign a contract or make a big investment, proofread, get a second opinion. Read the fine print. Backup ALL your files. Rest. Streamline. DO NOT: Fear the astrology.
