🌚This New Moon is BIG. It's our first since eclipse season, and it's in Libra, the home of Venus and where the sun is now. The eclipse portal is officially closed. Now’s the time to alchemize. Now we turn our eyes to the whole: how is this story working out for everyone involved? For all of us?

Mars is the ruler of Aries, where it’s hot and inflammatory, and Mars is the ruler of Scorpio: intensity and scrutiny are the vibes. It’s here to shine a bright light. Review what you’ve been working on and through for the past six months since the full moon in Libra. What did you seed last spring that deserves celebration?

I sought insight from my pineal gland, and the answer that came for next steps at the end of the meditation was “strategy.” That’s why we nurture mindful and sacred practices—not only so we’re present and compassionate, but so we come to greater alignment with ourselves and the Universe.

What is not serving you? What perfection story are you ruminating on that needs not be perfected? Who are you criticizing (including yourself) where criticism has no role? Where rigidity gets in the way? Does that jawn truly need to be just so? Or is there room for flow? What would Juice do?

And with Mercury in Libra, the sign of justice, balance, and harmony, and Jupiter in Cancer, the sign of care, compassion, and nurturing, you bet we’re having big conversations.

Mars in Scorpio gives us permission to dig deeper, to embed more psychological intensity and emotion into our every day. It's skeleton woman energy. The mud of the lotus flower. How much depth is too much?

If acts of service is your love language, this Venus season is for you. Venus is in her fall in Virgo—so she struggles; less play and more work. While this doesn't sound sexy, if duty and purpose turn you on, just wait until someone folds the laundry, pumps your bike tires, and makes dinner.

Although Mercury in Virgo is exalted and does its best work here otherwise, Saturn will reign that in. Mercury’s in charge of the flow of information: communication, transportation, technology. Best to write a draft and save it for later.

Venus in Leo sextile Mars in Libra is one of the hottest aspects we can get, so make the most of it—even though it’s a Monday. Make eyes, give a well-timed compliment, do the triangle method gaze, wear something spicy, charm, engage, make the big ask,

The South Node is the tail of the dragon, sweeping everything away, a place of release. Since it’s in Virgo, we (society) lose the desire for: facts, data, discernment…a loss of checks and balances. Ultimately, as the South Node transits through Virgo, it goes through a clearing and a healing.

The North Node—the head of the dragon—is HUNGRY. The North Node is insatiable, and in traditional astrology a point of chaos. ( In modern astrology it can be a point of purpose.) In Pisces, that can mean an increase in spirituality, compassion, care and vulnerability.

Sol and Mercury take care of that for us on September 10th & 11th when each conjoins the South Node – all are in Virgo. The South Node in Virgo means we release the Virgo things: perfectionism, over-analyzing, and criticism, but we may also lose data, details, systems, and order.

Out of retrograde, rotating forward, and now exalted in Virgo—this Mercury transit is information flow vibes. It’s intellectual processes vibes. This is clear, direct messaging with details intact. Chaos into order, you got it!
